Brian Fishler of Huntington Named IPVideo Corporation Director of Business Development

December 30, 2013; Huntington, NY – Bay Shore-based IPVideo Corporation, a leading manufacturer of Video Management Systems (VMS) and Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) solutions, has named Brian Fishler of Huntington, NY as the Director of Business Development.   Fishler, a 22-year veteran of the security industry, is an expert in video security technology and integration.  

As Director of Business Development for IPVideo Corporation, Fishler’s primary focus will be on working directly with security integrators to bring IPVideo Corporation’s advanced VMS and PSIM, technologies to schools, government facilities and corporations in the New York Metropolitan Area and the Mid-Atlantic Region.  IPVideo Corporation sells its industry leading product line though its exclusive dealer channel. Fishler will be responsible for educating integrators, architects, engineers and others about the advantages of using company’s best in class technology.

Fishler began his security industry career in 1992, as a Metro New York Sales Engineer at VICON Industries, Inc.  His passion for his line of work is rooted in a personal experience that occurred on February 26, 1993, the day a van exploded in the basement of the World Trade Center.  Fishler was in an office on an upper floor of the Tower, where his company had installed security cameras for a major client.  After that experience, Fishler decided to dedicate his career to the security field.  He also helped build the IP Video Division for Canon USA where he spent a total of 10 years watching it grow.  As the market shifted from Analog to IP, Brian was the Northeast Regional Manager for NVT, where his division earned a Marketing Segment Growth Award.  Fishler earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Dowling College.
