Bellone Invites Residents to Job Fair at South Huntington Library

Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone invites residents who are looking for work to participate in a job fair on Wednesday.

“Numerous Long Island companies are in need of the talents our residents have,” the county executive said. “This job fair will give employers and residents an opportunity to connect with each other.”

The job fair is scheduled for Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the South Huntington Public Library, 145 Pidgeon Hill Road, Huntington Station.

Among the many companies recruiting  for workers are Aflac, St. Joseph’s College, Suffolk Community College, UCP of Suffolk, United Healthcare, Urban League Mature Workers Program, Hyatt Regency, Jennifer Furniture, Macy’s, and Community Care Home Health.

On Thursday, the Suffolk County One-Stop Employment Center will host a workshop on franchising opportunities. Kensington Company representative Stuart Levenberg will lead the session, which starts at 9:30 a.m.
