Work is underway to renovate Tattoo Lou's, which was seriously damaged when it was struck by a car in March.
A crew of workers is rebuilding the structure and inside sections of the Jericho Turnpike property. A two-car collision at about 9:50 p.m. sent a sedan crashing into Tattoo Lou's, which was occupied at the time. Four people in the two cars were injured while the building occupants were unhurt.
Tatto Lou's said it expects to reopen by October.
