Spencer Schedules 'Listening Tour'

Suffolk County legislator plans series of community meetings for residents to voice concerns.

Suffolk County Legislator William Spencer announced last week a scheduled a series of four community meetings around the district. 

“The goal of these meetings is to give constituents an opportunity to share their concerns or issues with me,” said Spencer, in a release. "Please come and talk to me. What you have to say is very important and I will listen.”

The planned series of meetings is scheduled from 7 p.m. to  8:30 p.m. on the following dates:

  • Feb. 29: United Methodist Church, 97 Little Neck Rd., Centerport
  • March 12: Huntington Public Library, 338 Main St., Huntington
  • March 26: Dolan Family Health Center, 284 Pulaski Rd., Greenlawn
  • April 18: Suffolk Y Jewish Community Center, 74 Hauppauge Rd., Commack

If residents are unable to attend any of these meetings, they can contact Legislator Spencer and his staff for further information at (631) 854-4500, or stop by Spencer's 18th District office at 178 Little Neck Rd., Centerport. Office hours are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with evening hours on Monday until 7 p.m.
