Even without a New York team in the Super Bowl, lots of Huntington residents will be partying this weekend. If you're looking for a catering menu for the big event, here are a few possibilities.
Rookies, 70 Gerard St., Huntington. (631) 923-0424. Its menu includes mini-cheeseburgers, mac and cheese, and pigs in a blanket. Rookies recommends calling sooner rather than later to place an order.
Sapsuckers, 287 Main St., Huntington. 631-683-4945. The restaurant uses its regular menu, offering, among other items, organic wings, chili, ribs and potato pierogis.
The Shamrock, 138 New York Ave., Huntington. 631-427-4221. Chili, nachos, lots of beer, sliders and free wings, said the 2012 Patch Readers Choice award winner.
Brooklyn Pizza, 881 E Jericho Turnpike, Huntington Station. 631-424-0654. The pizza restaurant is offering 3-6 foot heroes, half trays of food and appetizers and a big meal known as the End Zone Steal.
Finnegan's, 5 Wall St, Huntington. 631-423-9696. The downtown favorite hangout offers a wings special featuring buffalo, chipotle and barbecue flavors and a tailgate package of hot wings, spinach-artichoke dip and a tray of mac and cheese. Drink specials and appetizers will be available throughout the game.
