Paramount Offers a Sneak Peek

New entertainment center offers a big-name lineup.

The long-awaited replacement for the Imac Theater is getting closer to reality.

Monday night, the owners offered a sneak peek at what is likely to be a thriving downtown spot featuring some top-name artists. Though the theater is still getting finishing touches, it is offering the act Rusted Root in a soft opening Wednesday, with the grand opening set for Friday and featuring Elvis Costello, the first of many top performers.

Among the many already signed are Taking Back Sunday, the Goo-Goo Dolls, BB King Willie Nelson, Jack's Mannequin, and The Script.

Huntington Patch will provide more details Tuesday, including information about the owners, their plans for the site, and several features.
