'Strong Island' concert features The Script and others, to aid LI Red Cross.

The Paramount will host a  “Strong Island Hurricane Sandy Relief Concert”  Thursday to assist the Long Island Red Cross.

The show, headlined by The Script, will include other special guests, to be announced. The Dublin musicians, who were originally scheduled to play theater on Dec. 5, rescheduled their show to assist Long Island, the Paramount said.

“As fellow Long Islanders, The Paramount wants to help our neighbors devastated by this terrible hurricane.  We would like to thank The Script, and the other special guests, for responding to our request in creating this amazing benefit show”, the Paramount said.  Radio teams from WALK, WBLI, KJOY, WRCN, WPLJ, PARTY 105 and others, will help promote the concert.
