New Tools Store Seeks Workers

National tools and equipment retailer Harbor Freight Tools is moving into the space once occupied by Loehmann's on West Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station.

The vacant store, which was occasionally used as a Halloween specialty shop, is about to undergo renovations. On Wednesday, workers were painting the front of the store and the Loehmann's sign had been removed. Signs indicate that Harbor Freight would be hiring.

Representatives of Loehmann's and Harbor Freight did not respond to inquiries. Harbor Freight started out as a catalog company in 1977.
