Readers' Choice: Huntington's Best Sporting Goods Store

It's time to cast your vote for the best sporting goods store in Huntington.

On Monday, Patch sought nominees for the best sporting goods store in all of Huntington.

While we came up with an initial list, thanks to our readers we now have a few more places in the running for the Patch title, Huntington's Best Sporting Goods Store.

Voting is open until Friday at 9 a.m. Ties will be broken by whichever business has the most positive comments in the section below. We will announce the winner Friday.

I know that this poll is not scientific but aside from providing a list of stores in the sport genre (is billards a sport?), this is the dumbest survey of all time. All of these stores are sport specific. Oddly where is Dick's (probably the only true sporting goods store in Huntington) or does Melville (in the township of Huntington) not count? I'm sure Golfsmith in East Northport feels left out as well. Stick to surveys like best pizza, nail salon, ice cream etc...

great service/extremely knowledgeable and personable friendly staff on a first name basis gives you a wonderful, experience every time you visit. You truly feel like a guest and the merchandise is always superior to the competition's . keep up the good work L.U. !!!!!!
