Huntington Applebee’s Donates $6,300 to Toy’s For Tot's

Breakfast with Santa Program a record-breaking success in 2011.

Applebee’s announced Monday its Breakfast with Santa program in Huntington generated $6,300 this past holiday season as part of a record-breaking year in Long Island for the U.S. Marine Corps program.

All proceeds from the event were donated to the USMC program which provides thousands of needy children with a joyful holiday. The dollars raised in each community directly benefit that local community, according to Applebee's representatives.

In Suffolk County, nearly $100,000 was raised, according to the company. 

For 13 years, Applebee's has contributed more than $2.7 millionn to the Toys For Tots event nationally. Neighborhood Applebee’s in Long Island contributed $322,500 in 2011.
