Still doing your last-minute Christmas shopping and don't want to venture into the packed malls? Instead of something new for the holidays, check out a few local antique stores in the area for holiday gift ideas.

located at 700 E.Jericho Tpke. in Huntington Station offers an eclectic collection of precious antiques with collectibles ranging from furniture, lamps, and chandeliers to military items, watches, cameras, old tools, Lionel trains, fine porcelain, and vintage toys.

The Antique Market is one of Huntington Station's hidden gems, located across the street from Waldbaum's and next to N&S Electric nestled away down a driveway and in the back of a building. This antique store is some collectors' best-kept secret, but you will be sure to spot the full size suit of armor they have standing guard just off the street in front.

With about 15 dealers, they are likely to have something for everyone. They will appraise as well as purchase your items for sale.

The Antique Market is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and accept cash and credit. Parking as well as the main entrance is located in the rear of the building.
