The Huntington School District is seeking an assistant principal in our high school. This individual must be able to handle those duties assigned by the high school principal. The assistant principal reports directly to the high school principal. Candidates must demonstrate leadership ability and a willingness to devote time beyond the regular school day in the performance of responsibilities. All candidates must hold permanent state teaching certification and valid state SAS or SBL Certification.

Customer Service Coordinator, Cablevision

Performs any and all supporting and direct customer customer-contact tasks of basic complexity.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to interact with customers: receive orders, process payment, respond appropriately to customer issues

• Ability to operate cash register or point of sale (pos) terminal, as needed

MRI Tech, Huntington Hospital

Part time. Graduate of AMA accredited educational program or equivalent. Certification by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensed by the State of New York. Injection certified. Must possess a thorough knowledge of principles, standards of practice, methods, techniques and equipment in MRI. Cross sectional anatomy/MR physics a must. MRI certified preferred. Experience with Siemens Avanto 1.5T a plus.

Community Journalist, Newsday

Journalist will cover a specific community or region and be required to report breaking community interest news, stories, shoot video and photos and maintain blogs and social media feeds. Community Journalists will work from the office, from home, the coffee shop, a car or even a local school board meeting. The goal is to become the go to person for community coverage.  Also in this role you will spend time cultivating sources from the community. You will be asked to enlist residents to help build our broad base of information.

Groomer/pet stylist needed to perform the following duties:

• Perform basic grooming services including brushing, bathing, and conditioning of animals
• Follow owner's instructions or Breed Standards when clipping, stripping or trimming an animals' coat
• Generate business by: utilizing periods of time when not grooming pets to write and send reminder cards to customers who have not been in for grooming services for more than three months
