A Huntington Station company is hoping to put an automotive service station on the corner of East Jericho Turnpike and Park Avenue.
The space was occupied by a Mobil gas station until it suddenly shut down in May, and was demolished in June. Since then, the corner has sat empty.
But Leon Petroleum LLC has applied for a zoning change that would allow it to build a service center on the corner.
A public hearing is scheduled for March 4 at 2 p.m. at Town Hall.
