“Being a firefighter and being physically fit goes hand in hand,” said Chris Ingwersen, chief at the Cold Spring Harbor Volunteer Fire Department. “It seemed like a great cause to get involved in.” Ingwersen worked with Fit Body owner Kathleen Tafti and her husband to put the event together.

Members of the Huntington Township’s EMS systems and members from the fire department second battalion have said they will be attending the event.
