The Fifth Annual Huntington Has Taste at Prime - An American Kitchen and Bar

Prime – An American Kitchen and Bar hosts the fifth annual Huntington Has Taste event on Tuesday, June 26 from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. Advance tickets are $55 each or $65 at the door. Tickets may be purchased at participating Huntington boutiques or via www.restaurantprime.com. For more information call (631) 385-1515.

The night of fashion, food and fun, which in past years has gathered hundreds of guests, is designed to encourage support of local boutiques such as hair salons, cosmetics and fashion retailers. Their wares are adorned by models walking down Prime’s boardwalk which will double as a red carpet fashion show runway. This year the evening starts on water, with models arriving on a 72-foot Azimut Yacht (www.azimutyachts.com) courtesy of MarineMax (www.marinemaxhuntington.com). Swim show models will don Skyfish Swimwear (www.skyfishinc.com), a high-end luxury swimwear line created by Huntington-bred designer Lauren C. Pratt.

Guests will also enjoy hors d’oeuvres by Prime’s Executive Chef Gregg Lauletta to be savored along with views of the sunset over Huntington Harbor from the restaurant’s elegant deck. Participating local boutiques include Rexer-Parkes, Francine’s Fashion and Veronica Rayne Boutique. Beauty contributors include Monet Salon of Northport, Haven Hair Spa of Huntington, The Beehive Salon of Islip, Miss Pam Makeup and Paint Cosmetics. Gift bags from the area’s finest merchants will be available to the first 350 guests to purchase tickets.
