Henican to Highlight Huntington Chamber Networking Breakfast Meeting

Huntington Chamber's September Breakfast Meeting will motivate and uplift all in attendance as we enter the Fall Business Season.  It is a wonderful opportunity for business and community leaders to meet with colleagues and other invited guests for productive networking with an abundance of new business opportunities and great fun!  Media Personality Ellis Henican will serve as the keynote speaker at the breakfast which will take place on Tuesday, September 25th at the Huntington Yacht Club (95 East Shore Road, Huntington), from 7:30 to 10 a.m.  An award winning journalist, Henican is considered by many to be one of the nation’s most respected and brilliant media leaders.   

Ellis Henican, is a staff columnist for Newsday and a political contributor for FOX News Channel (FNC). His opinion column appears regularly in Newsday.  He joined Newsday in 1985 as a general assignment reporter and was eventually assigned the subway column, leading the paper to a Pulitzer Prize for coverage of the Union Square train wreck. Henican's work has also been recognized with the Meyer Berger Award for distinguished writing about New York City, and the National Clarion Award for column writing. His articles have been published in various national magazines including The New Republic and Cosmopolitan. He is a daily commentator on the Bloomberg Radio Network. He has also published a book "Home Team," with New Orleans Saints Coach Sean Payton. In addition to his many talents, Ellis was also the voice of "Stormy" on the hit Cartoon Network series, "Sealab 2021."
