Dine Huntington, Restaurant Week Coming Up

Foodies delight as local restaurants will offer special deals.

Now's the time to start thinking about where to dine--two big events are coming up to introduce people to new restaurants, or return to old favorites.

Dine Huntington is first up, Oct.7-14. It overlaps two days of the , and, so far, includes 33 local restaurants offering three-course prix-fixe meals for $24.95.

Some, such as Black & Blue Seafood and Chophouse, are encouraging diners to make their reservations now.

Menus range from the seafood of Harbor Mist  and Jellyfish to Neraki's Greek Mediterranean lineup to Prime's American cuisine.

Long Island Restaurant Week is scheduled for Nov.4-11, which says that participating restaurants offer the $24.95 three-course prix fixe menu, with at least three choices of each course.
