Long Island's first Brio Tuscan Grille will open Oct. 10 at Walt Whitman Shops.
The national restaurant chain said its menu offers such upscale, affordable specialities as made-to-order pasta dishes, fresh fish, grilled and roasted steaks and chops, and salads, flatbreads and bruschettas.
The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sundays through Thursdays and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday. It plans to offer brunch service on weekends until 3:30 p.m., in addition to the regular menu.
The 7,528-square-foot restaurant will seat 200 and offer bar seating and a terrace.
It is part of the Bravo Brio Group, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio.
Brio is one of several restaurants or stores scheduled to open this fall at the mall.
