Acacia Restaurant to Open In Huntington
Acacia to open in prime location on New York Ave.
There's a new restaurant coming to Huntington.
Acacia, located at 371 New York Ave., is slated for a mid-June opening, owner Michael Cassano said.
Cassano and Chef Matthew Maxwell were on site Wednesday as construction on the 3,500 square foot space, which began Feb. 1, continued.
Cassano described Acacia as "Fine dining" and said there will be a separate mussels menu featuring 15 different varieties.
Cassano has a finance background and Maxwell was previously chef at Riverbay Seafood in Williston Park.
