A car traveling on West Jericho Turnpike crashed into a hair salon Sunday.
People working to clean up the large amount of wreckage at Gizay Michaels Hair Salon said the shop was closed at the time of the accident.
The Huntington Community First Aid Squad said the female driver, who is 66, was disoriented and didn't remember what had happened. The squad took her to Huntington Hospital.
Workers were hauling away rubble and boarding up the building Sunday afternoon.
