Did you know that the human body was made for short burst effort?
That's right.
We are a fast moving machine, thus it makes sense so many people are hurting after running the cow harbor and putting a lot of miles in.
Running literally deforms bones and breaks down tissue. This inflammation can actually increase weight gain by stressing the system too much!
What is a better option? Head over to Huntington HS and use the fields, or head to Cold Spring Harbor and do the same. When you get there, try to sprint for 30-50 yds for five runs at 80% intensity.
This will increase fat-loss in the body and keep the body from accumulating too much stress.
Your body will thank you.
