Family-like place focused on teaching discipline and leadership.
I began my Tae Kwon Do journey with Atomic TKD about 2 years ago. For me the school became more than learning how to kick or punch. It's about personal growth: believing in myself (especially when getting into intermediate belts and things get much harder), learning how to breath and better control mind, how to think in positive way, believe in yourself and of course martial arts skills.
The instructors (Dr. Luiza and Master Bart) are detailed, picky, patient and encouraging. They always push me to do things beyond what I think I could do and that makes me be able do more and more difficult techniques. It feels good when someone believes in me so much. I started going for Tournaments and Championships to build my confidence and I'm proud when my Atomic TKD received the Best School Award during two recent events.

Although I receive ranks in Tae Kwon Do, I also learn some Juijitsu and Arnis Sticks in advanced classes. Master Bart believes that they are great as a self defense tool and since we never know.... it's a good thing to know them. I like a "killer" workout so I take Cardio Tae Kwon Do classes at Atomic. They are very innovative and "sore," for my muscles... As I'm progressing into higher ranks I love observing how Dr. Luiza and Master Bart teach, especially children with special needs and autism. They have so much patience, imagination, love and believe in every student.
