is sponsoring the third annual BandJam Friday night at  Adventureland Amusement Park, starting at 6 p.m. The event includes a concert and amusement rides. Indoor and outdoor games and raffles also available during fundraiser.

Rusted Root is performing at 8 p.m. Friday at the Paramount. The Pittsburgh band is in its 20th year.

the Cinema Arts Centre  offers five 35 mm films with vintage horror film trailers starting at 11 pm Saturday. The scary night continues until dawn. The Descent, Ringu, Martyrs, [REC] and the Mystery 5th Feature (best-kept secret on Long Island) are rated R.

are on display Sunday at the 49th annual Robert J Bohaty Memorial Antique and Classic Car Show. Sponsored by the Northport Centerport Lions Club, the event gets underway at 8 a.m. Sunday at Heckscher Park.

Coming up Monday:

is set for Monday.  The 2011 golf classic raised nearly $130,000 to support disabled veterans. This year, organizers hope to exceed that amount. The classic will be held on Aug. 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Huntington Country Club. Registration information can be found at America's VetDogs Golf Classic.
