Happy Friday! If you are searching for something fun to do this weekend, yet despise sitting in East End traffic or schlepping into the city, look no further — there are plenty of local live entertainment options right in our area. Click on the links below for more information on each listing. As always, if you have a live entertainment event you’d like to see posted, let us know! Here are a few to start your summer weekend off on the right ‘note’:

August 19

: Live music happy hour featuring Erich and Raquel, 4:30 p.m to 7:30 p.m.

: Huntington Pub Crawl and historic walking tour. Begins at 6 p.m.

Northport Arts Coalition: Happenings on Main Street presents Latimer Experience; jazz, world music and Afro-beat at the Northport Village Park Patio, 7 p.m.

: “Music Corner” featuring dinner, dancing and jazz music from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

: Broadway's Barbara Siman-Strouse presents “Stolen,” a show marrying music, dance and vignettes at 7:30 p.m.

Grasso’s: Sue Giles and Company, vocals, piano and bass at 7:30 p.m.

: Don't miss the classic musical, "Hairspray," based on the 1988 film by John Waters. Showtime at 8 p.m.

: Arena Players Repertory Theater production of William Shakespeare's "Much Ado about Nothing," outdoor performance beginning at 8 p.m.

: “Good Boys and True,” performance directed by Jeff Bennett at 8 p.m.

Vanderbilt Museum: Rudyard Kipling's "The Jungle Book" performed by The Arena Players Children's Theatre. Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m.
