Paramount Hosting Hall of Fame Induction

Musical stars across generations form fourth class of inductees.

The induction of the fourth class into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame will bring fans and celebrities to the Paramount Thursday evening.

Stars from singer Connie Stevens to VH1 Hip Hop Honors winner Whodini to Northport Community Band's musical director, Robert W. Krueger, are among the honorees. 

Singer Taylor Dayne, Lovin’ Spoonful bandmates Joe Butler and Steve Boone, and Dee Snider of Twisted Sister will also be honored. Snider was previously inducted into the hall and will receive this year’s 2012 Harry Chapin Award.

The ceremony will also serve as a fundraiser for the hall’s new home in Port Jefferson Village.

Doors open at 7; the ceremony is set for 8 p.m.

Previous honorees include Louis Armstrong, Sam Ash, Pat Benatar, Lou Reed and Donnie McClurkin.
