Great South Bay Music Fest Coming to Patchogue in July

Lineup includes BB King, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, 'Queen of Kindie Rock' Laurie Berkner and more.

The annual Great South Bay Music Festival is coming to Shorefront Park, in Patchogue Village July 18-20.

The weekend-long event, which is in its eighth year, is billed as the largest “American Themed Music & Arts Festival” on Long Island. This year’s lineup includes BB King, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Moe, Taking Back Sunday Anders Osborne, Conspirator, Commander Cody, “Queen of Kindie Rock” Laurie Berkner and more.

The festival features more than 55 performers in the classic and contemporary rock, pop, jam-band, folk, jazz, blues, country and funk genres, on four stages, including a children’s tent and stage.

Known for its musically varied and eclectic lineup of headline and emerging “original” artists, this year’s festival is the most diverse to date, said promoter Jim Faith.
