Five Things Going on This Weekend in Huntington

YMCA carnival runs all weekend, Collective Soul plays the Paramount.

1. YMCA Carnival: The hosts Newton Shows Carnival featuring rides, games, food and entertainment. Pay one price admission of $12; seniors $5; under two years of age free. Runs from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. through Sunday.

2. Collective Soul: The chart-topping rock band Collective Soul will begin a national U.S. tour at the Friday. They will perform their 1999 platinum album 'Dosage' in its entirety. Doors open at 7 p.m., concert at 8 p.m. Tickets

3. Yellow Submarine: The Beatles return to the big screen to fight the Blue Meanies in this new digital restoration of the 1968 animated musical classic at the . Runs until May 31. Showtimes and prices here.

4. 2012 Culture At Mahanaim: Mahanaim host a culture evening with dances and music Saturday. Experience culture through the music and dances of various countries which students have prepared. Runs from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at 300 Nassau Road in Huntington.

5. Little Shelter Fundraiser: Len Marks Photography will be doing a photo benefit for Little Shelter Animal Rescue and Adoption Center from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. For a $10 donation to the shelter customers get a 10 minute photo session and a 4x6 print on the spot. To set an appointment call 631-367-1219.
