The Huntington YMCA's Memorial Week Carnival runs from Wednesday through Monday, May 25-30.
The carnival runs from 6 to 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, May 25-26.
Once school is off for the weekend, carnival hours extend. On Friday, May 27, hours are 6 to 11:30 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, the carnival runs from 1 to 11:30 p.m. and on Monday the hours are 1 to 7 p.m.
The carnival features Newton rides and midway, food such as zeppoli, clam chowder and burgers. Bands will play at 7 p.m. Friday, and again at 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
There will be a children's magic show at various times on Saturday and Sunday, and Jungle Bob's Reptile Show at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Proceeds raised benefit the scholarship fund.
And as a reminder to all those who want to work off a zeppoli or sausage sandwich, the Y building is closed for Memorial Day on Monday, May 30.
