VIBS Family Violence and Rape Crisis Center Author Reception

On April 13, 2011 VIBS Family Violence and Rape Crisis Center is hosting its annual Book Luncheon to raise funds to support programs for survivors.  This year our featured author is Teri Coyne, author of The Last Bridge, a debut novel that has won critical acclaim.

This year marks VIBS’ 35th Anniversary and we are pleased to be in the forefront of the movement to end domestic violence and sexual assault and provide help to survivors.  Violence in our society takes a terrible toll on the lives of women, children and families.  Its devastating effects know no boundaries – touching all age, ethnic, religious and socio-economic groups.  VIBS works continuously to develop programs that bring support and assistance to survivors of domestic and sexual violence.  At VIBS, we specialize in crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, advocacy, court accompaniment, preventative education and outreach.
