Opera Lecture At HPL

As part of the Huntington Public Library's Saturday Afternoons With Opera series, Jasmin Bey Cowin, a harpist, lecturer and educator in the U.S. and Germany, will speak at 2 p.m. April 30 on Wagner's "Die Walkure."

She will explore the opera's cultural and musical history, the composer, plot and libretto, and will show footage of famous performers and productions. Registration is required.
