Kids, bring an adult and explore the history and culture of early Native Americans from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, during Native American Day at the Conklin Farmhouse and Museum barn.
Learn about their traditions, skills, food, clothing and view authentic artifacts from our collections. Past activities included making head bands (with feathers), making pots from clay, playing games that our first citizens played, and sampling foods that the Native Americans ate.
Crafts, games, songs and refreshments are included in the $12 per child cost, for children ages 7 – 12. Adults must accompany children and will not be charged.
