Local Children's Author Donna Wright at Book Revue

Local children's author Donna Wright will speak about and sign her new book about dealing with the death of a loved one, "My Mother's Secret," at 7 p.m. Friday, April 15, at Book Revue.

There are only a few ways to handle the death of a loved one -- anger or acceptance and moving on. "My Mother’s Secret" follows one boy’s path to believe a “secret” that helps him accept his father’s death and understand that his dad is still with him.

This heartwarming story will make you think about your deceased loved ones and how to believe in the “signs” that they send you. Wright is a proud parent raising her son in Port Washington. Often referred to as “Donna the Dreamer,” she is elated to enter “author” at the top of her dreams list.
