2010 LIE Masquerade at Oheka

The Long Island Elite (LIE) continues its commitment to giving back to the Long Island community as it announces the details of its 7th annual Charity Masquerade Event. Designed to raise funds and awareness for multiple charities, the event will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Oheka Castle, Cold Spring Hills, NY.

"Wonderland" has been chosen as the theme, and this will not be your typical charity event. All members of the business community are invited to enjoy a festive and magical evening filled with enchantment and excitement…from croquet on the lawn, a mad tea party, airbrush body art, a hookah lounge and much more...
All net proceeds from the Masquerade will support and benefit several local not-for-profit organizations such as:

  • Adults & Children with Learning and Developmental Disabilities
  • Best Buddies New York
  • Canine Companions
  • Contractors for Kids
  • EAC
  • Family Service League
  • Friends of Karen
  • Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Long Island
  • Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Metro New York

"Long Island Elite is dedicated to working together to support the community of Long Island", said LIE President and Founder Dawn Strain. "But LIE is much more than that. Part of our mission is to take a leadership role and raising awareness for not-for-profit organizations and their causes."

Strain added, "We were very pleased with the attention and support that our previous six Charity Masquerades received, and we encourage anyone who is seeking to experience a unique and fun-filled evening to attend our event and help us to support those who need it most."

The evening will also include passed hors d'oeuvres, cocktails and martinis, a lavish display of food, Oheka Castle's famous dessert room, live music, entertainment and prizes. Tickets to this event are $350 each and corporate sponsorships are still available. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. For more information about LIE's Charity Masquerade, contact LIE at 516-719-7100, or send an email to:masqueradeinfo@longislandelite.com: or visit www.longislandelite.org.
