The circa 1750 Conklin House, which is the first house museum on Long Island, has been a significant part of the Huntington community for over 250 years.
The lecture is part of the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the society's ownership of the Conklin House. Zach Studenroth, Southampton town historian, will discuss the architectural evolution of the house, and the society's new exhibit “All Things Conklin” will be open immediately following the lecture.
