Walt Whitman Performing Arts center
The Walt Whitman High School Dance Concert will be performed Wednesday June 1, 2011 at 7:30 pm in the Performing Arts Center of WWHS. Entry is free. Students will perform modern and ballet works on a variety of themes ranging from the legendary poet Walt Whitman to the obsession with cell phones, tweeting,and texting among high school students. Whitman’s Dance Program instructor Ms. Susan Turner Radin will perform a modern dance to John coltraine's “Favorite things” accompanied by the Walt Whitman High School Jazz band, who will also open the concert.
