Irish Music and Poetry Night

In honor of Poetry Month, String Poet presents an evening of Irish fiddle music and poetry at the Long Island Violin Shop.

The evening features the Irish fiddle with a global twist of 

Cady Finlayson and guitar/percussion of Vita Tanga, and the poetry of

Barbara Novack, writer-in-residence at Molloy College and also a member of its English Department, and Claire Nicolas White, poet, author and translator and editor of Oberon poetry magazine.

An open mic will follow the performances.
Admission is $5.

It is String Poet's second non-Friday Studio Series event. String Poet is a journal of poetry and the arts.
