Bethany and Rufus Roots Quartet

Summer Arts Festival presented by Huntington Arts Council

Bethany Yarrow & Rufus Cappadocia present an evening of American roots, Haitian Rhythms and African Desert blues. Drawing from diverse roots music traditions of America, Africa and the Caribbean, the Bethany & Rufus Roots Quartet, featuring master percussionist & oud player Brahim Fribgane (Morocco) and Haitian Percussionist 'Bonga' Jean-Baptiste, come together to create an unexpected tapestry, weaving the desert winds of Africa with Vodou traditions of the new world and the folk music of America.
