Dr. Teresa Mular takes us on a personal journey (in four chapters), which describes how the architecture and the view of Buenos Aires, have changed the landscape of the neighborhood where Dr. Mular lived and knew so well. Memories are interwoven with landscapes where her childhood and teenage years were spent. She enables us to look at some of the most important artists of the early and mid twentieth century, many known to her family, and whose works continue to influence the city’s artistic life. As we view the magnificent and newly restored Teatro Colon, the largest opera house in South America and one of the most beautiful in the world, we experience unique historical recordings, anecdotes and interviews with artists who performed on it’s stage. We continue on this wonderful journey focusing on spectacular monuments that adorn many public places and which reveal the strong influence and taste for European art. This is truly a personal journey and Dr. Mular invites us to share it with her. Dr Mular has retired from her OB/GYN practice in Huntington. Argentina, 2011, Spanish with English subtitles.
