Mary Ahern’s Fine Art is inspired by her extensive gardens in Northport where she combines her passion for flowers along with her decades long career as a professional Artist.

Following a degree with classical training in Fine Art, Ahern turned her attention to what was then the emerging computer graphics industry during the 1980's. Here she became immersed in the hardware & software that was initially designed for the Television Broadcast industry. As the field evolved she pioneered her commercial work skills towards the creation of a new Fine Art form.
Her Digital Mixed Media Paintings, explore the left-brained/right-brained synergy of creativity and technology. This new genre of Fine Art emphasizes her skills as a painter while using the computer, tablet and stylus as her medium of choice.
