Arena Players Children's Theater: "The Tale of the Frog Prince" at Vanderbilt

The Arena Players Children’s Theatre will begin the new year with a delightful production of “The Tale of the Frog Prince” at the Suffolk County Vanderbilt Museum’s Carriage House Theater on Saturdays and Sundays at 1:00 p.m. from January 28 through February 26.

A highlight of Arena Players’ Children’s Theater productions is audience participation. Cast members invite kids to join in the fun. “The Tale of the Frog Prince” is a comedy about a lonely frog prince who lives in a swamp on a large kingly estate.

The Frog Prince, however, is really a prince who has been turned into a frog by a wicked witch who cast a spell upon him. To break the spell, the frog must be kissed by a beautiful princess, which is done with hilarious results.
