Make a scarecrow stuffed wtih straw, decorate a pumpkin or prepare to be sacred at the "Boo Barn" during the Huntington Historical Society's annual Apple Festival from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, at the Dr. Daniel Kissam House and Museum on Park Avenue.
Enjoy the bounty of the fall apple harvest time with this look back at old-time fashions, crafts and food. Bring the children to play traditional games, try old-time crafts and dance to the tunes of traditional music.
There will be apples and seasonal fare, butter churning, demonstrations of traditional crafts, bread baking in the bee hive oven, and face painting.
