Children turned out by the hundreds Wednesday morning to join in the town's Eggstravaganza at .
More than 8,0000 eggs were hidden around the park, and children, divided into three age groups, dashed around to collect them or enjoyed facepainting and crafts. More than 450 children were registered for the event, which last year was marred by a shortage of treats and a bit of chaos.
Ahern's Landscaping of Huntington donated the eggs.
