Cinema Arts to Host Indian Center Benefit

The Cinema Arts Centre will host a benefit to support art education for a children's home in India.

The Sphoorti home in Hyerbad, India, uses an arts-based educational approach to teach children who come from impoverished backgrounds.

Artists from the Art League of Long Island, RIPE Art Gallery and the Creative Arts Studio of Sea Cliff will have their work on display in the Sky Room during the July 28 benefit.

Sitarist Indro Roy-Chowdhury accompanied by Nitin Mitta, tabla player, will perform while food will be provided by Kiran Palace, Copper Wok, Compari and Perfecto Mundo.
