Target Rock National Wildlife Refuge in Lloyd Harbor was among the many national parks around the country closed to the public because of the shutdown of the federal government.

Police Identify Woman Found Dead in Woods
Suffolk County Police have identified the woman who was found in the woods at the Froehlich Nature Preserve Thursday morning as Sarah Strobel, 23, of Huntington Station. Her body was found in the nature preserve in Huntington Thursday morning.

Muscle Maker Grill celebrated its grand opening Saturday. The chain restaurant in Huntington Station features healthful menus and offers eat-in, takeout and delivery service.
