Hotels for humans and daycare for dogs topped discussions at Monday’s Source the Station meeting about revitalizing Huntington Station.

Also discussed was the Columbia Street project, which has transitioned from a plan for eight homes, each with and accessory apartment, to 14 condos with no apartments, and set aside for veterans. 

Students, Robots Strut Their Stuff

Students representing 25 high schools around Long Island and Queens brought their creations and their skills to Half Hollow Hills West last week for the second annual robotics invitational.

Whitman Shops Celebrates With Grand Reopening

Walt Whitman Shops celebrated its renovation and expansion Thursday with the unveiling of a statue of the poet and and a host of school, town, county and state representatives on hand for the ribbon cutting.
