Two Huntington Non-Profits Receive Grants

Long Island Community Foundation grants $25,000 to Caumsett Foundation and Huntington Youth Bureau.

The Long Island Community Foundation Board of Advisors announced this week the approval of $293,000 in grants to 12 nonprofits — including two from Huntington.

The Caumsett Foundation was granted $20,000 to pilot an invasive plant management practice to re-establish the grasslands at Caumsett State Historic Park Preserve.

The Huntington Youth Bureau was granted $5,000 to provide a series of fundraising workshops.
