Question of the Day: Sale Sign Fees?
What do you think of village laws that require residents to pay permit fees for real estate signs?
The Village of Lloyd Harbor Monday the idea of following the lead of some other North Shore incorporated villages and charging residents a permit fee to post for sale signs in yards.
What do you think of the idea? Is such a law more beneficial to residents or village governments? Is it really necessary or just a way for governments to increase revenue? Should village governments stop charging real estate sign permit fees? Why?
