MTA: Extra Trains for Memorial Day Rush
The LIRR is providing additional service for pre-holiday travel
The will be operating 11 extra eastbound trains today between 2:10 p.m. and 3:58 p.m. for those leaving early for Memorial Day weekend.
Extra trains are on the Babylon, Port Jefferson, Port Washington and Far Rockaway branches. Two additional trains will leave Penn Station with Montauk connections at Jamaica.
