Limitation on Route 110 Traffic in Halesite
One-way traffic between Mill Lane and Hill Place for three nights.
Overnight traffic on a stretch of Route 110 in Halesite will be limited starting Monday night at 10 p.m.
The limitations will run from until 6 a.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights between Mill Lane and Hill Place, the New York State Department of Transportation said.
Traffic will be accommodated on the remaining single travel lane with workers allowing northbound vehicles to drive through the work zone while southbound vehicles are stopped, then vice versa. These closures on Route 110 are needed to relocate the existing sewer main pipe in conjunction with the ongoing $18 million NYSDOT drainage and safety improvement project.
