Supermarket and liquor store hours, closures, trash pickup changes around the Town of Huntington.
We've compiled a list of what's open and what's closed around town this July 4 so you don't have to. Take a look below for info on trash pickup, supermarket hours, pharmacy hours, liquor store hours, open banks (yes, there's one!) and other closures. Add any other closures you know of in the comment section below.

Town of Huntington Trash Pick Up
No trash pick-up on Thursday. All scheduled pick up days have been moved back one day after the holiday.
- If your trash is normally collected on Thursdays then your second pick up day this week will be Friday, July 5th.
- If your trash is normally collected Fridays then your second pick up day this week will be Saturday, July 6th.
- There is no yardwaste collection scheduled this week. Yardwaste will be collected during the week of July 8th on your scheduled pick up day.
No trash pickup on Thursday, July 4. Trash and recycling collection have been pushed back one day to Friday and Saturday.

TD Bank, all area branches, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Supermarkets
Stop & Shop, all area locations, 6 a.m. to 12 a.m.
King Kullen, all area locations, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Waldbaum's, Huntington, 7 a.m. to 12 a.m.
Best Yet, all area locations, 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Larkfield IGA, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Fort Salonga IGA, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Liquor Stores
Bottles and Cases, Huntington, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Bottle Bargains, Northport, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Pharmacies
CVS, all area locations: Open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., pharmacy 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Rite Aid, all area locations: Store and pharmacy, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Walgreen's, all area locations: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., pharmacy 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Post Offices
CLOSED
Huntington Town Hall
Closed Thursday, Open Friday
Northport Village Hall
Closed Thursday AND Friday
